This is one of those albums when you put it on you cant help but close your eyes and let it just take you in, the places this album takes you are equally dark and scary and they are beautiful yet gloomy. It's just some great atmosphereic black metal. Doomsterfire2049

Complete descent into the maelstrom and ascent into the darkest space known to humanity. Drums will wash over you like the wave that drowns you. Guitars rip through your bones and your soul cries out for Mary, like that Hendrix song spoke of the wind. Jono Schneider

Consistency is really fucking important. Many artists will knock one good release out of the park and then drown in irrelevance thereafter, because nothing followed. For Arkhtinn, consistency seems to be as natural and easy as breathing in your sleep. Not only do they never release anything subpar, they instead seem to improve with every release. V contains the meanest of all their black metal tracks so far, combined with the most fragile and beautiful ambient piece. De rigueur! David Fischer
